Angel Salazar Design is a floral design studio based in New York City’s Flower District. Our work begins with understanding the client and their vision — the identity of the brand, the desired architecture, and the vibe of the occasion. We take that vision and explore flowers, seasonal botanicals and unexpected materials to create an unmistakably unique body of work.
We work hand in hand with clients and creative partners, offering thoughtful guidance, clear communication and close coordination from introductions through installation. Our team manages design, sourcing, fabrication and production with meticulous attention, demonstrating the utmost care from our interactions to our final delivery.
For clients with year-round floral programs, our partnership becomes part of daily life. Our most extensive programs involve near-daily on-site service, with a dedicated team attending to arrangements throughout the property. We learn the spaces, anticipate their needs and work discreetly around their rhythms, with the professionalism and care that exceptional environments demand.
Meet Angel
A natural eye. An unexpected beginning.
Angel Salazar’s first job in a flower shop lasted just three weeks. His employers were convinced he had been sent by a competitor to study their operation. They couldn’t believe someone with his ability was only beginning.
Born in Oaxaca and raised in Los Angeles, Angel learned the practical side of making things well while working in his family’s factory. Managing complex logistics, maintaining quality and building relationships became skills he would later bring to his own studio.
After moving to New York, he founded Angel Salazar Design in 2017. Today, his work spans fashion, hospitality, entertainment and private commissions. The instinct that first drew attention to his talent continues to guide his creative direction, supported by a close-knit team that shares his dedication to the work.

Our team brings together floral designers, floral shoppers, fabricators, scenic carpenters and installers, each with a distinct eye and expertise of their own. We collaborate closely sharing distinct ideas and solving the practical challenges that come with creating something new.
That collaboration continues beyond the studio. For our year-round clients, familiar faces return throughout the week to care for the flowers and the spaces around them. Knowing the rooms, the people and the rhythms of a property becomes part of doing the work well.
